Well Worth The Read

This is a great book if you're looking to find ways of raising money for your real estate investments instead of going with traditional or "hard money" lenders. A very informative, quick read.

A must-read for real estate investors

Once again Susan knocks it out of the park! Very well written and an easy read. $ is the key to success in real estate, but it doesn't have to be your own money.

Other so-called gurus state, "if you find the deal, the money will appear." As if by magic it will conjure out of thin air! Rubbish.

Susan explains how to get the money *before* you get a deal. This gives you negotiating power. I highly recommend this book!

I've been a full time real estate investor for over 10 years & found that I was still able to grab a few really good nuggets of information that I had not thought of. I can see how implementing just a few of these little strategies will increase my access to cash & ultimately allow me to make more money this year. Hard money lenders are just too damn expensive, and this book will show you how to go out and secure financing at around 4% (or less if you have the balls).

Chicken Soup the Real Deal: Friends

I just recently read Chicken Soup the Real Deal: Friends. This book is a very good book. It tells many stories of people who are really close to others, or have had a problem with friends in the past. I think that Chicken Soup books are very easy to read, it also doesn't take long to read them if you can relate to the stories in them. I have always loved reading these books. I think you'll really enjoy the stories. I guess I like them because it just makes me feel happy knowing that other people besides me get embarrassed too, and they always cheer me up knowing that the stories in these are real and not stories that the authors make up. I think that most people who do read these books really do enjoy reading them. If you like to read about other people's lives you should try a Chicken Soup book. These books are very good books. I urge you to read them!

I really loved this book. I like reading the kind of books where other people tell there story and you can relate to it. thats why i realy love this book because all of the story;s you can totally relate to and it has stories that are just like the real life and high scchool and the things you go through every day.When i read this book it helped me like deal with things because it had like stories and poems of things i would be going through right then and to know like other kids go through them too and like all friends can be the same. I always enjoy these books and when i read them i cant put them down.

Great Holiday Gift!!

I saw this book listed as one of Barnes and Nobles holiday gift ideas... and it is! I got several copies for all my friends who have teenagers (and for my teenage niece and nephews). The book does a wonderful job of getting the teenagers point of view across through the personal stories, reflections and interviews. It's not an adult's idea of what today's teenage experience is all about (let's face it, many of us are long past that trying time) but approaches it from their point of view and articulates in a readable entertaining format for adults and teens. Another great addition to this terrific series.

For me, the most healing book I have read.
What can I say in description of a book that has had more healing impact in my life than any I have read in a lifetime of 62 years? As a lifetime professional counselor, I have read and studied many books focused on the prospect of healing, but Robert Schwartz's Your Soul's Plan brought the events of my life more into focus than any I have read. I say this, not only as a healer, but also as a Vietnam Veteran, ex-helicopter ambulance pilot with a lifetime of challenge to overcome my own legacy of suffering.

Arranged in a series of case histories, tied together by the theme that there is an overarching life plan, planned pre-birth at a soul-level, we are made aware of how our own lives can fit the pattern he describes. With almost a hundred reviews here, I'll not go into repetition of the details so well described already. There are some things I would like to add.

I find it amazing how your soul will reveal to you the lessons to remind who you are and why you are back here on earth. my spiritual growth has already introduced me to the material of reincarnation and lessons and about soul planning before we reincarnate, and what those steps might entail from life review once you are back, the meet and greet team, then healing.. So the material being introduced was not new, but I loved the case studies that the author used to provoke the question on why would souls take on such huge challenges like being gay, addictions, illnesses. I just gone through what I had already recognized a huge soul lesson with the passing of my father after a battle with cancer. To read this book and to affirm what I knew was true and then to read so many more fascinating cases of real life challenges and all to learn about love.
